Printing and publishing by the k.k. Court and State Printing Office in Vienna. This sheet was part of the prestigious school and wall-chart project of the Vienna Secession and the Hagenbund, carried out in collaboration with the State Printing Office. At the beginning of the 20th century, the project aimed to disseminate high-quality artistic color lithographs both as educational material for use in schools and as aesthetic wall decoration in keeping with the Lebensreform movement. The sheets were produced at the time using elaborate printing processes involving multiple lithographic stones. Small tears along the edges of the image.
