During the last years the oeuvre made by Willy Eisenschitz started to regain an increasing appreciation among collectors, gallerists and museum experts. In his works he understands, with his compositional talent and manual know how, how to reflect the atmosphere and the light from the south, which charms so many artists to move to the Provence. Eisenschitz shows in every painting the quintessence of a landscape, in which violence and brutality of a stretch find reminiscence as well as mildness and harmony, and severity and wealth. Collectors and friends from France, who knew the artist personally, told us several times about the unique matching between the Viennese charm and the French sensitivity, which Eisenschitz was able to unify in his own personality and in his works.
