Patricia Karg, born in 1961 in Innsbruck, first trained at a vocational school for wood and stone sculpture in Innsbruck before studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, where she became a master student of Hans Ladner.
Building on this sculptural foundation, she developed an interdisciplinary practice spanning sculpture, light objects, and painting, in which perception, color, and spatial effect interact. Long-standing exhibition activity supports the professional standing of her artistic position.
Women in Art is an initiative by Fürstenweg Unique Fine Art that curated this selection. Its aim is to increase the visibility of both emerging and established female artists in the art market.
